I found the link to the bus being referred to as a trollop.

The reference is in the comments after the article.

Our IT here blocked the site for your first image so I don't know what you showed.

If you think the red thing looks like a trolley, you need to see your optometrist, IMHO.

What is so wrong about calling it a bus?  They are a legitimate vehicle for carrying passengers.  In fact, buses were the winning competition for the style of trolley they now try to emulate.  The trolley industry tried to fight back with the PCC Trolley.  PCC trolleys are the streamlined ones from the late 1930s and thru the 1940s. A handfull of cities used them for several more decades. Philadelphia, PA has retrofitted about a dozen with airconditioning and modern running gear. I think they would fit Tulsa nicely.  Evidently the word "bus" has too negative a  connotation. Wikipedia, not necessarily a proven reliable source.  I look there too but verify anything questionable.

The term "Trolley Bus" is also already taken. It is the electric powered bus with two trolley poles to collect overhead electric power since it has rubber tires and cannot use rails for the other connection.

And I (obvioulsy) don't want to call "that vehicle" a trolley of any kind.  I am technically correct. You have ignorance on your side.

You must have some money invested in the things. Afraid you'll lose money if people find out they are not a trolley?

I think I'll take the Buick badges off my car and put on some that say Mercedes.  Think anyone would mind?

Hence forth I shall refer to the trolley shaped rubber wheeled conveyance as the "Trolbus".
Pronouced: Trawl-bous unless it is infested with unatractive people at which point it will be pronounced as: Troll-bus

How many adult beverages will the average person require for the Troll-bus to revert to the Trolbus?

I think we might need a "tagline" for DowntownLive.  Something fun, cool and creative with the words "downtown Tulsa" in it.  Any ideas/thoughts out there for a tagline?  (Dsjeffries, we know you're out there...)

By the way, within minutes of the unveiling, we received several requests from people who want to distribute our map at their events.  We also have organizations and businesses asking us if they can link to the DowntownLive site from their webpage.  (YES!)  (I think we need to come up with a small version of the logo, so people can click on that as the link.)

Just now read the thread and found my name... I'll do some thinking [:P]

I will continue to call any soft paper tissue product for my nose a Kleenex.... even though I am technically incorrect, since it is clearly a Puffs Plus+...  [:D]

It took you 26 hours to come up with that?  Try again, surely you can do better. No I did not call you Shirley.

Be careful, I think the ASPCA is close to ready to make an arrest on this one. This dead horse has been totally beaten.
