My guess is "Need More Money."

But I hope it's actually a commitment from some sports team!

Interesting. Keep us updated! I'll bet that it's the Sonics are relocating to Tulsa rather than OkC.. :)

Bok is actually a Croation word meaning "Hi".

I think the arena is just saying hello.

It happens to be a Turkish word, meaning sh*t.
Vote for the two party system!
-one one Friday and one on Saturday.

Barely-educated, mostly-wild guess: Garth Brooks will open the arena.

He did it for KC's Sprint Center. I don't know why he wouldn't do it for his hometown. [fingers crossed]

I hope that Garth DOESN'T open the Arena. We already have a country act, and one that sells more tickets. Garth coming to Tulsa isn't news since he lives here and the fact that he opened the sprint center is yet another reason not to have him. Not to mention, that would put Garth playing the day before Kenny.

We need Rock. We need Clapton. Even Kim Jon Il agrees.

P.S. They are announcing the opening act in July.

Fair enough.  But methinks you underestimate Garth's draw.  If he were to actually un-retire and tour, there is little doubt he'd be the #1 concert draw in the country.  Don't forget--he sold out five straight shows at Drillers Stadium back in 1997.  The stadium was configured for 16,500 seats and so he drew over 82,000 in a span of five days.  In Tulsa.  And the fact that he's been retired so long means that any Tulsa show would be a national event.

I think Garth Brooks would be the biggest possible act the BOK Center could book.

Springsteen would be a good market cross-section.

Oh gawd no, I would rather rot in heck than listen to that pitiful racket. [xx(]  Is he still even alive?

BLASPHEMY!  BLASPHEMY!

Good lord man, have you no taste?  Springsteen is transcendant.  I prefer his songs to Dylan's.

sgrizzle

Another vote NO for springsteen.
