Pie Hole on 15th

its true, pie hole has been closed for a few weeks, sort of a "enforced vacation" i had a licensing problem with the state and it just so happened to cusp with the sale of the business and a planned vacation...  

i DID owe 2 employees a paycheck and am glad to say i got it all cleared up with them within days, they are both part time and i only saw them at work, so had to arrange a time to meet them both and get them paid.  my employees are close friends and would never be abandoned.

thanks for the support of the last 5 years, i will be there with the new owners for a while until they are comfortable with running the place solo, always looking forward to continuing to grow my other businesses in Tulsa and participating in the tulsanow.org forums

Wait wait wait... the city and/or state causes troubles for small business?  I thought all they did was take tax money and help the much vaunted and often destroyed small business owner?

I enjoyed your pies.  When I refer to pizza as "pie" I get funny looks.  Taking them to the hole helped me make my case.

I just checked and there is at least one employee who still hasn't been paid.  I passed this information along to her, so maybe she can contact Mr. Matthews directly since he's stating he's such an upstanding employer.  I hope he does what is right.

Thank God local businesses have you to keep on top of their employees. Can you get me the name of the woman who works at Viet Huong? A phone number would help too. Just check her W-2 for me. Thanks!

It's a personal friend, that's the only reason I know, or even care.  If her boss in on here saying he's covered all his employee's pay and you all are patting him on the back calling him a stand-up guy, and I know for a fact someone hasn't been paid. . .

If I came on here saying I was the perfect person and gave all my money to the poor and you knew I spent all my money on myself, wouldn't you call me on that?  I wasn't mean about it, just factual.

just who is your friend that hasn't been paid? i have all my bases covered here as i checked after your last post.

i have an employee named jen, she has about 1 hour on a time card and told me not to worry about it as it would cost her more to come into town and get her money. she'd get it from me when she sees me next, or just buy her a beer sometime.

one girl has another's paycheck and has had it for the last 3 weeks, that's between them, i wrote her check but her friend hasn't given it to her yet. she tried to deliver it at her night job but she wasnt there and didnt feel right just leaving it for her. i didnt ask her to try and get it to her, that must have been between them.

i even offered to go with her to the bank and give her the cash last week but she said never mind that and she'd just get that originally issued check from stef....

i havent heard from any of them about a lost check, and according to my bank records, all issued paychecks from the 20th of sept have been cashed,except that one...

there was a girl who came in for a few hours one day, watched how things worked and was offered a job after that, but she didnt show up the next morning and we never heard from her again.. a flake, but it happens.

whats your next claim? you aren't factual at all, you're just causing trouble where there is none to be had.

on a side note, i'm glad you enjoyed umberto's calzones. my family also started that and sold it to the current owner, Moses over ten years ago.

if i hear from an employee that hasnt been treated fairly or has a problem with thier time and payment ill let you all know.
