Since tattooing is cropping up more and more around here, has anyone got any tattoos done here locally? If so, where do you recommend?

I want to get a tattoo of the earth.

Then, if I am lost in space, I can point to it and say "I'm from here."

That's funny!  Thanks for the laugh!

I want to go into the business of tattoo removal.  There is going to be big bucks in that in about 10-20 years, erasing all the mistakes people made on a whim in their youth.

Electric Eye, very professional, really cool people. I think they were one of the first to get licensed.

(That one was done in New Orleans, not at electric eye)

True and there will also be those in their let's just say "over 35" club who like theirs still such as myself.  [8D]

Jose "The Inkfather" Sanchez at Outsiders Ink is an incredible artist with a very creative mind. His shop on Harvard is clean and neat. He's quickly embraced going legal and has all his permits and licenses. My wife has spent about 4 hours under his needles doing a colorful coverup. She'll be going back for the final sitting the day after Valentine's.

Jose has a nice online gallery here: The Inkfather

Here's the work I had done at Electric Eye:

I got my tattoo here in Tulsa about 3 years ago. It was over on 11th between Lewis and Utica. I don't remember the name of the joint, but I can look it up next time I'm over there.

The guy was really nice and helped keep me calm (this was my first tattoo). My camera is MIA, but my tattoo is simple. It is just my fraternity letters on my back-right shoulderblade. They are colored in green-fading to-red, which are the the colors of my fraternity.

Yes, it was Kappa Sigma. But it wasn't Electric Eye.

The place has the name spray-painted on the building. I think it is next to Obscurities, but I'm not 100% sure.
