What do you mean by repub nod?  It's a non-partisan race.  Do you think the R clique in town will get together and select a candidate?

Didn't we vote away partisan elections for local office?  Or was I dreaming about that?

We did vote away the little, "R", "D" or "I" next to their names but you are indeed dreaming if you think this will make Tulsans non-partisan.

That was what I was asking.  I know it will never make them non-partisan.  It's just that in local office, I couldn't care less what a candidate's social politics are that don't directly affect how they would govern at the local level.  Case in point:  who cares if someone is against ObamaCare or someone is against abortion?  Can they address the budget issues we as a city have.  How about infrastructure?

Hell, I don't even really care at this level if they 'have the Okie in 'em'....

"against Obamacare" is this generation's "911".
