    No offense to your college buddy.  It reminded me of his other bar.  It's not bad, it was just too crowded for me.  I'm too old to do the late night bar crowd anymore.  Plus the smoke was way heavy.

A group of us went there tonight. Got charged $2.18 for a cup of coffee and it came to the table just lukewarm. The food we had was typical franchise restaurant quality and nothing outstanding. Some guy came by way to often, interrupted our conversation, just to ask if everything was okay. Very noisy with the acoustical quality of the space way to lively. Of course it is obvious this is not a place to go if you just want to have a quite dinner.

Then too, perhaps it was just that I had a crappy day today. At times I do not care for the nuisances of architecture.

No, for real, we went on 2 different Mondays and the waitress told us to take the glasses home, that it was some promotional thing.  It was over Christmas break time.  My brother has a full set of Harp by now.

Yes indeedy, they do.  No pool's a bummer, though.  This D&B isn't quite as fun as the larger ones, but given the near-total lack of arcades that aren't overrun by kids in this town, I'll take it.

And I'll agree that the trivia game is good for tickets, assuming you're reasonably intelligent and three or more people are playing.  Other games that give you lots for your buck are the horizontally-oriented circular machine where you stop a spinning light (cheap, relatively easy to hit the jackpot, decent ticket value if you just slightly miss the jackpot), the dinosaur game and the game where you stop an electronic bar that rapidly goes up and down a tower.

Things happen. As I inferred it was more than just the noise. Besides, had to check it out and we did and now we know. Would have sent you instead to check it out for us but you were not available. []
