Lets clarify some things here. If a station splash blends their fuel to get E10.. they pay a price for ethanol gallons and a price for the unlead. If they blend at the terminal, the supplier they purchase from has an E10 posted price (that means its' blended when loaded out of (1) spout).  Whether you buy Phillips or Sinclair or QT.. whatever.. the E10 or pure gasoline is coming out of the same terminal and is the same product. The name is changed based on the supplier code input into the pipeline. But its all the same base product. Same with diesel.. The longterm effect and benefit of ethanol has not been recognized and my opinion it will be the biggest boondoggle put on this country in many years.. mark my words. and for those for you who run tanks near empty.. the condensation will build up and when you hit it with ethanol.. it will grab that water.. so don't run near empty. and be careful of putting ethanol in a car made prior to 1985..

Long ago (1960s) we used to put some denatured alcohol (ethanol) in the boat gas tank each spring exactly because it "grabbed" the water. Actually it allowed the water to go into solution with the alcohol and gas mix so it would pass through the system rather than stop the engine on the spot.  Winter blend gas has had some ethanol blended in for decades for the same reason.  Just not near 10%.

(edit... forgot the word boat)

maybe you misread my statement or are too dense to understand.  I will give you the benefit of the doubt though.  Not once did I ever say they invented it or that it was their innovation.  I simply used that as an example of why they are one of the best if not "the best" in this state to work for.  Do you get a paid months vacation after 20 years on top of all your other vacation time? Do you get free healthcare after 5 years? Do you get free healthcare for you and your spouse after 10 years?  Does your company hand out 1000 dollars in AMX gift checks at their annual meeting to 5-10 random employees who attend?   Whether you believe it or not, they are one of the top companies in the country.

Is that all that great?   Those benefits aren't bad, but come on, they aren't something to dance a jig over.

yeah, random AMX gift checks?  Hell I get those all the time, no randomness involved.  Let me ask this....does QT give out BMWs?  No?  man what a ****ty company.

They are at the donkey end of the energy sector, good thing I'm not.

They don't them give them out, but they pay my fiancee...

oops, the cat is out of the bag....no sense in trying to convince you otherwise, you are a member of "the club".  So tell me, have you defaced the license plate on your Bimmer with a QT sticker like all the other cultists?

So which model BMW do you own or lust after? Only a fan would know that a BMW automobile is a Bimmer, not a Beemer and not a Beamer. (For those who don't know, a Beemer is a BMW motorcycle.)
