A friend of mine who now lives in Hawaii is wanting to see what it looks like.

Thanks

FYI the BOk Center has a beer room.  An entire room just for keeping kegs of beer at the perfect temperature.  Less moving kegs around so less foam.  That is, if they properly insulated the lines and pre-flow them before events (all taps connect to lines form the beer room.)

Beer room.

If I ever design my own home I think I'll put in one of those, and just like the plumbing and electric, I'll run beer to every room.

Beer.  mmmmm

A tapper next to the John would be the best thing since a magazine rack.  [:P]

Holy crap. It's got almost 1,000 pictures!

Edit: Sorry, I meant to edit my previous post, not reply to it.

Boy that sucker is really going to look rough with a little age on her. Each of those panels rather than working together are going to do their own thing big time.

Not at all guy. Just do not agree with the choice of finish materials. Looks cheap and will not age well. Really hope it is not Alucabond. Delamination is a real problem with that material.

Stainless steel delaminates?   I've heard of fiber board, dry wall, and fiberglass delaminating.  I've heard to copper sheeting.  Never heard of hallow cubes made up of stainless steel delaminating.  The steel just peels off of itself?  I don't get it.

Each panel is a cube of stainless steel.  The panels are set off the building and hallow, each panel floats on the exterior of the building so that they DON'T tear away, buckle or otherwise get destroyed.  At least that's what they were when I took the tour and that's how it was explain to me (us).

This discussion has been going on ad naseum.  What finish material would you prefer?  Tilt up concrete panels or blown on gunnite to look like stucco, maybe with brick accents?  Not trying to be a jerk, but what would you prefer and what are your concerns based on?

I'm happy we went with something different and have to rely on the engineers that the material is suitable, I don't have any information better than theirs.  To me, this looks good. It looks like it was made from platinum bricks.
