Does anybody know this guy?

Back in my teens in I think 1982, whilst visiting the chiropractor, I remember my sister (who'd driven me) speaking with a man who was by his own claim, a pastor. He was a squirrelly-looking guy, and he really didn't figure out to me as a man of the cloth, but, hey, all shapes and sizes, right? Years later, in 1989, whilst signing up for my classes at TCC, I'd seen him again, and somehow, we'd gotten to talking (though he point-blank refused to give his name, just said he was a minister); had to call him something, so I called him "Rev," since he claimed to be a minister. Said he was a pastor who specialized in working with Native Americans. Still looked pretty squirrelly, and given the scandals in the evangelical world, I came away from it feeling a little suspicious of the man. As I came back to visit Oklahoma for a few months back in 2002, I'd bumped into him again, still working with Native Americans, he said.

And having a Native American colleague on the IT staff, my mind went back to this mysterious individual. My colleague didn't know who he was, but did say that the description sounded familiar and he'd look into it for me.

And that's what I'm asking here. Is there anyone here, and familiar with the Native American community that may know this guy? Claims he's a minister (I think Baptist), spends alot of time in Tulsa; he'd be in his 60s these days, greyish hair, a sneaky look, works with the American Indian community (though I doubt he is Indian)? I'm curious of his identity, what is his angle-if he has one-and is he on the up and up?

Any replies will be appreciated.

No, I don't think he could even get elected to public office.

And I am curious if he's even ordained....

Does anybody know him? Or seen him?

I had a prof there a few years ago, but he was a monk type . . . shorter, pudgy, badling, think he wore glasses.  I'm not sure he is who you would be talking about.  If it is, I'll look into finding out his name.

That could be that fellow from the house of David.   He would be afraid to say so because some Politian would say "put him in the nut house where he belongs".  Or he would be strapped down and given the needle.

He was not overweight, but he didn't seem like he was missing any meals either.

My wife told me I was out of shape. I corrected her by pointing out that round is a shape.

Well, I appreciate your effort on this anyway. Just something that mildly nagged at me from time to time.
