This Memorial day weekend

Having the weekend off (as well as Memorial Day)-a rare thing for me in my lines of work- I am accepting an invitation to join some family and friends in New Orleans, and I leave tomorrow; it's only a relatively short drive from Biloxi, and my heart is genuinely overflowing with anticipation of a good time. No doubt it will be nice to be back in the city of my birth, all things considered.

What does everyone else have planned?

Well, I'm back in Biloxi! New Orleans was great, glad to see my birthplace and my people again. Alot of work to be done there, and it's given me the impetus to do even more in hurricane relief efforts (and I've done quite a bit, though modesty prevents me from enumerating my efforts). Just good to see it again.
