There's a new airline coming to Tulsa, ExpressJet Airlines fly 50 seat regional jets and will add six non-stop destinations from Tulsa.

Non-stop flights from Tulsa to:
Oklahoma City, Austin, Ontario (CA), Sacramento, San Antonio and San Diego.

Good news. Since they are new, but in actuality, an existing airline, hopefully they will be more stable that the last regional carrier we had.

Non stop to Austin???  My signifigant other lives there, and I'm soooo tired of flying Southwest through Dallas Love Field.  Hallelujah!

Rowdy

How do you know they won't serve cocktails to the pilots?

This is just another good ole boy network scheme to take advantage of the ignorant Tulsa taxpayer and small businesses. Sorry, channeling MDG again...
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

very disappointed about the west coast routes....what does it take to get our LAX flight back?  it is the major gateway to Asia.  sucks that we have to drive to OKC to catch a non stop to LA.

It's not LAX, but Ontario is an LA airport.

Oh, and I left off Albuquerque as a destination. So seven total non-stops.

Non-stop to OKC? lol! Just strikes me as funny. Where would they stop? Stroud? lol!

Great news though. As soon as they post their flights, I am going to check into a flight to Sacramento. [:D]

You can get to LA non-stop

Renaissance

Seems like this new service might be a byproduct of the fact that a huge, efficient aircraft maintenance site is located here.  Airlines save money by routing jets through Tulsa for maintenance, so why not carry some passengers as well?  This is one of those great side effects of large corporate presences.  The AA package in Vision 2025 appears to be paying excellent dividends.

Ontario != LAX.  now quit saying that podunk airport is LA.  if i want to terminate in LA great, but I want an airport with asia connections.  only lax gives you that.
