I am probably going to have to limit it to only one island so I need to find a couple of friends.

I figured I would be the big island for size reasons and I have a concept for the solar canopy hat and plan to wear sandy brown clothes, even though these islands probably won't have sandy beaches.

I have legos for the buildings and plan to hang some boats tethered on me for effect.

What else could I do?

Wow, lot of options there for further development. Something sarcastic like ties to the development committee that wants to push this thing through? I don't know enough to really offer any great suggestions, but that's a great original idea for a costume!

How about a tiny figurine of Bing Thom with a halo around his head?

Stick a windmill on your arse and a sign that says "powered by biofuel".

Sorry couldn't resist. Now returning to my usual snobby, high class, elitist mode.[;)]

Don't forget to cover yourself in dollar bills...or just have a large "Minnie Pearl" price tag dangling from your hat...

There should be something to represent the low tide aroma issue.
