Bee swarm attack in Chimney Hills

We live in Chimney Hills at 91th and Sheridan. On Tuesday I was told a beekeeper in Chimney Hills apparently tripped and fell on the way to tend his bees. The bees then swarmed and attacked him. His wife tried to help but got into trouble herself. The fire department and an ambulance were called to assist.

Anyone know about this and any other information you might offer?  Sounds just a little like the behavior of the African bees.

Any comments would be welcome as we are just a little concerned not really knowing.
