Neediest Families Fund makes another bad pick

This is not meant to degrade what the Salvation Army does and what the neediest families campaign does but they need to look into who they choose for the families.

Back in the 90's they chose an ex-sister-in-law and her 5 kids and  hubby. Both were big druggies and choices were of there own making ... beating up her mom , stealing from people and then loosing all their kids to foster homes.

Now I look at todays Tulsa World and see todays pick. I don't mean to lessen what has gone on in this families life but their current situation is not accurate in the paper.

They have 3 to 4 cars in the yard at any given time. So no she doesn't have to borrow one

There are up 3 or more guys living there also.
So no she isn't on her own and it just being her and her babies..

The kids do have toys, they are all over the front yard because they can't play in the backyard with the 3 pit bulls being raised back there.

If things are that bad then sell the big screen tv in the living room and make them guys get jobs...

Besides the Salvation Army doing some check ups for it Neediest families choices. Section 8 diffently  should be doing better check ups before submitting a family that is curently illegally using the benefits of section 8...
