Casa Laredo is closing!

I saw on channel six that Casa Laredo in Brookside is being forced to close after over three decades of great service.

What is really sad is that the owner of the restaurant had just spent 40 thousand dollars in renovations just before the owner of the mall dropped the bombshell that the lease would not be renewed.  (There is NOW WAY the owner could not have known about these extensive renovations, and the owner HAD to know that the lease was not going to be renewed.)

The reason given for the lease not being renewed: Wild Oats needed to expand.
