Sorry. I stopped drinking beer for about 7 or 8 years, though I bought a six pack a couple of weeks ago, breaking that long run. I was dreaming about beer. But the proteins cause pain and that makes it easier to avoid. I only drink until it aches - about 1 or 2 a week.

There's a lot of different styles available.  If the proteins in beer cause pain maybe you could try mead.  It's basically wine made from honey instead of grapes.
