Oklahoma HB 2790 (2002)

Changes the statute of limitations for sex offenses when DNA evidence is available, the identify of the offender is established by a DNA profile; and the victim notified law enforcement within seven years of the discovery of the crime. Requires testing of evidence be completed with three years of reopening of an investigation. Applies to these crimes retroactively.

Oklahoma 67% Byrne cut leaves 33% or…………$92,085 So, in order to save $92,085 dollars Oklahomans will have to spend a minimum of $5,867,136.

This is an additional burden on tax payers. These figures do NOT take into account these ever increasing costs.

• New personnel

• Software, including installation and maintenance • Additional jail and prison space

• Court and administrative costs

• Law enforcement costs

• Legislative costs related to adopting, and crafting state law.

This is insane.

Then please don't feel like this is an open forum to promote your cause.  I believe what you are doing is bordering on two things:

Spam.

Violating the TOS of this website.

The first of course is opinion.

The second, is of course, just guessing, but it's a pretty educated guess.  If you were doing this on my forum (yes I have one), you'd have been banned after the third post like this.  It could also be taken as flame baiting.

These issues are very important to the community and society as a whole.
Debate is good, it's healthy. otherwise it would be censorship. I really don't see it being something we shouldn't want to understand. I belong to several forums and when someone does a thread that I don't care for, I skip over it. Simple solution. Don't read it.

That's the problem with spam... even if you don't read it, it's annoying.  

It appears you are lobbying for more strict/more lax laws.  That would seem to be politics in my mind.  Why not post there where the same subject over and over and over is pretty well par for the course.
