Hey Tulsa,

Don't be fooled by what you read.  Myles McClanahan is taking credit in the October 2008 Tulsa People article for his co-Chef Guy Romo's tamales.  This recipe comes from Grandmother Romo and was not even on the menu until Chef Romo came to the Twist.  There is a huge photograph of them and they are now the restaraunts best seller.  The entire staff knows the truth on this and there is a huge buzz about it internally.  Chef Romo was not even mentioned in the article.  Go ahead, ask Myles how to make those tamales....it'll be interesting to see him struggle to respond.  Nice backstab Myles, you're a joke!

Ok..WTMF IS YOUR POINT?

"Don't be fooled by what you read. Myles McClanahan is taking credit in the October 2008 Tulsa People article for his co-Chef Guy Romo's tamales." AND? WHERE THE HELL IS GUY ROMO? And who is he in the pecking order...do you see employees of major corporations getting pats on the back when the company makes a milestone? NO you see the higher ups getting that from the media...so what is your point I ask again...perhaps this guy ROMO is a lower on the totem pole chef and Myles is a higher up...I dont work in the industry but this is how business works sister...

Try to keep up and know your facts before SLANDERIZING a person.  You are wrong and abusive MrBurns.

Lemme guess...you're ****ing Romo now?

THE DINGO MADE THE TAMALES

And I was wondering if I'd miss Bear and FOTD.

Wow, As I read that article I was trying to see the point that was being made by kimmyco but was unable to get it. It clearly states that Executive Chef Miles(for whatever that title holds)tries several different recipes, trying to get a different menu to offer for the new restaurant. There are several different dishes mentioned in the article so I am assuming that Chef Romo did not create all of them and I also got that he is not the Executive Chef whom the writer was interviewing. By writing standards should the writer have asked him if he created all the items on the menu ? answer is......NO. Your friend should be happy that his Grandmothers(not him)recipe was not only mentioned but was photographed and published and praised.
Changing opinions one mistake at a time.

As soon as I saw the sign, I thought, well that'll last a few months.

How about that stupid-donkey name?

Admin

In case anyone is wondering, Kimmyco apparently decided to replace her posts with simple letters of the alphabet.

we vs us

I thought it was a team building exercise.  We all just start posting letter of the alphabet until we hit the letter Z and then the Admin locks the thread.

Yes, I dedided to say "nevermind" to this one. Many of the responses here have demonstrated to me there is way too much required information on this subject than I'm really willing to write about. There are many facts I left out leaving it all open for certain conclusions, that's obvious to me now. Ok, that's the way it goes.   Funny how posting exposes so many of you as bitter, ugly and brutal little *****es.  How convenient for you to hide behind your monitors and be a**holes.  Several of you are simply riddled with vicious cynicism. And you can have it. So to those of you of which that applies....piss off.  I'm going to enjoy my weekend.

Wow, you are as big a head case as Romo, or is this one of his/your multiple personalities?

So tell me, ex-trophy wife, are you smoking hawt???

I'm late to the party.  From what I can see Kim posted that "Romo" stole a recipe.  When replies were negative about some other chef and/or eatery the response from Kim was not kind.  The result was a flame fest against her.

Kim has now taken her ball and gone home.

Did I get that right?
