Hey Dallas P.D./Dallas Official who thought keeping the money to begin with was a great idea?

I have heard that some in Dallas P.D. are raising money for the family, who apparently having a tough time. To me, that's the most inspiring part of the story. The family needs help, yet her decision and her family's praise of her decision.

Apparently having a tough time?  Seven people living in a one bedroom apartment pretty well affirms this.

I think they discovered there was a state law concerning this type of thing.

This just goes to reinforce previous opinions from visual observation about Dallas PD.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Do they teach groping?

If so I'm confident I had a couple of Dallas PD trainees/rookies next to me at the concert last night.  I was about to punch the boyfriend in the face because he let her girlfriend drink like a fish.  And I'm pretty confident they weren't locals.  At one point I asked them to either stop or go get a room.  They obliged by leaving.

OK, sorry for the thread drift, back to moronic Dallas PD....

The Dallas PD has always been known to be a bunch of morons. Back in the 80s after I had been hired as an assistant DA, I attended a seminar put on by the DA's Council. Mixed in with the usual stuff about securities law prosecutions and search-and-seizure issues was a public relations presentation by the Media Relations guy with the Dallas PD. Knowing the Dallas PD's reputation, I thought I was prepared for anything, but when he held up his water glass and asked us if it was half full or half empty, I had to leave. There were many who followed.

The question I had to ask was who was the genius who hired that idiot in the first place.
