Within the first 2 sentences,
Dan ALWAYS will tell you he is a "Former Highway Patrol Trooper.."

I really had a visceral negative reaction to this video...

Let's talk about real "family values" for a few moments here...

If a "fetus" IS a baby...
Then an illegal "alien" IS a person...

Don't play "slight-of-hand" by calling these people who want to work in this country and don't speak english well enough for you, "invaders"...

Our national government has been incredibly irresponsible AND hypocritical... and this makes for REALLY GOOD POLITICAL FUNDRAISING on all sides of this issue....

And that's why nothing ever gets done... people feel better about themselves because there's been no compromise...

Oh, and do you think for two seconds that these workers will be moving to Mexico?... no.  They'll be moving back to Texas... or to Arkansas... or Kansas... or New Mexico...

Not surprised that this post/link comes from you, AMP... if I had to decide whether to move to Tulsa based on your info, I would never have done so, because based on your characterization of this city and it's economic climate...

Tulsa = Flint, MI

***nothing could be further from the truth.

hugs-n-kisses,
your friend,

Ruf.

Well said.  Our Federal government has done nothing to solve this problem.  I cannot bring myself to blame a Mexican worker (not the criminals or lowlifes, the ones that actually come to WORK) who wants a better life and can not get in under the system.  Time and time again I have said it, we have companies that want to hire them and people that want to be hired, pretty obvious what is going to happen.

Heck, I have a couple of friends that are attorney's and are struggling to get the right to work in this country.  They have been here legally as long as 12 years - went to high school, college, and law school.  Still, it is hard for them to get the right to work.

The system is broken.  I'm sorry the illegal aliens are in the position they are and I'm sorry the city and state is being forced to put their finger in the dam.  By situation all around.
