TMUA Closed-Door Meeting

TMUA's meeting next week amounts to a closed-door event with discussions of their EPA & DEQ Violation Notices, ostensibly with their attorneys.

While some of that may seem necessary (if one takes the posture that a legal defense is the last resort), the events surrounding this notification of violations and what they intend to do to rectify the situation to EPA/DEQ's satisfaction SHOULD be a matter of PUBLIC discussion.

Why isn't it?

They havent indicated a regular meeting following the closed-door session with a public part to announce any conclusions/recommendations, etc.

What are these guys hiding?

There is legal discussions surrounding sewer regulations. Any time there are discussions involving legal issues, it is smart to do it in executive session. Any action will have to take place in a public meeting, but discussions can be done in executive session.
