Now that Steak and Ale is gone this made me wonder what's left.

What are Tulsa's best mid-price steakhouses?  I don't mean the mega-chains like Texas Roadhouse, Lonestar, and Outback Steakhouse.  Or the high-price places like Flemings, Mahogany, or Polo Grill - though we could discuss those as well.  But of the independents and smallers chains I can only think of 3 right now that I've been to: Silver Flame, Jamil's, and the Gaucho.  What are your favorites?

Townsend

Green Onion's blackened prime rib is tasty.

McGill's on 21st...nothing against the other location...I just prefer the one on 21st

Ate at The Spudder a couple of weekends ago and found it better than it has been in a long time.

BKDotCom

Cardigan's at 58thish and Lewis serves a mighty tasty steak

Oy...I miss Rosies on 48th and Memorial...

I've heard that the silver flame is or will be up for sale.

Brother Houilgan does some pretty decent steaks.

My back yard.   I grilled some pretty tasty Rib Eye Steaks if I do say so myself just last night.  [8D]
Trust but verify

I loved their Grand Cut of Prime Rib.

Ever try Ichiban Terriyaki at 41st and Memorial?

Mahagony's can rule. Ummmmm, butter.

Charlestons on 71st and Yale has a pretty good filet. As someone said earlier, Spudder is great, but it is kind of expensive. What about Osaka fantasy steakhouse at 51st and Harvard? I went there for the first time yesterday, and I think it might be a little better than Shogun.

Eddy's on 31st and Jamils on 51st.

My favorite is the Jamil's $9.95 Club Special

Complete with Relish Tray featuring celery, carrots, green onions, pickles radish.  A Bowl of Humus Tahini for dipping. Basket of Rye, Wheat and Pita bread with a stick of butter. Second basket filled with scrumptious slow smoked ribs and balogna.  Bowl of Tabouli. Second course a mixed salad with choice of dressing or house vinaigrette.  Third course entree, including Steak, Seafood or Smoked Chicken.

Great food, quantity and quality for $9.95.  Wish I could find these types of deals when I travel out of state.  Tulsa has the best value around on restaurant food than our surrounding neighbors.

Last word was Jamil's is supposed to stay open through the end of the summer.

Is Jamil's going to reopen elsewhere?  We can't lose both Jamil's and Silver flame.  Where will we get Syrian Bologna and Humis?

Anyone been to Avalon steakhouse in Sapulpa?

Do any of these steakhouses have good salad bars like Steak and Ale had?  How about Lobster bisque?

I've been pretty faithful to the T-bone at Brothers Houligan over the years.

Jamil's is re-opening.  Can't remember where, but there was an article about it in the last few months.  I send out of town visitors for football there and they always love it.  Can't beat those prices.

Eddy's has the same bologna, hummus, and fixins.  Same with Freddie's (I go to the one in Sapulpa).
