"People of Muskogee. Open your eyes. April 25th is a day you'll come to remember."

The video posted on YouTube this week appeared to some as a terror threat to Muskogee.

The F.B.I. and Muskogee Police are investigating with only two weeks to crack the code.

"Anytime we get this kind of threat we treat it as the real deal," says Brad Holt of the Muskogee Police Department.

But just a day into the investigation, it was learned that the video wasn't a threat at all. The clip turned out to be an ad for a movie in the Bare Bones Film Festival in Muskogee.

"If someone dials 9-1-1 and it's a kid playing on the phone and we're pretty sure what it is, we still have obligation to go check out and that's what we do with this."

Fact or fiction Muskogee Police responded. Residents here say that was a smart move and say the hoax was going too far.

"I think some of this is getting out of hand. People want to get attention is all, says Terri Cunningham," Muskogee resident.

It's as if the only threats the FBI are ever on top of are fake ones.  People staying here illegally on expired visas is at an all time high.  Get to work on the real problems!
