Im calling you out

I know that it isn't the best thing out their.

I DON'T KNOW if XEAL would have made it better or worse. probably better

It is a grocery, restaurant, retail,
prescription delivery service for Metro Tulsa

No pop ups or slide in objects.  If the consumer needs help they click the live assistance link.  I "think" I have fewer people that leave instantly because of this courtesy.

You get top billing for "tulsa jenks grocery delivery" as well as "jenks grocery delivery" and 4th for "tulsa grocery delivery" but some changes to your meta tags would help a lot.

Search Engine Optimization doesn't take a stack of cash.

What I'm saying is, there is a lucrative business making money off of stupid people.  I mean obviously, or xeal wouldn't exist.

As you have shown, it doesn't take an expert to get search engine hits.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Some hints:

1) Get rid of the Yahoo symbol on the page.  This is called the favicon.  Because you have the yahoo I assume you stole the base HTML from a yahoo site.  Make your own:  Google favicon making or such... not hard.  if it is Yahoo hosted, see if you can still change it.

2) Ditch the cow in the cart.  What might seem neat is really just annoying and adds nothing to the page.  Getting rid of it will also clear up the text in the upper right so you can read it.

3) no pop-ups, but you have ill-placed banners.  I understand it is probably the cost of free hosting, but get them at the bottom of the page.  The one to the right side is very distracting.

4) update the copyright date

All that said, the page does it's job.  You know what the business is and what it does.  I'm poke around more later, but it looks to get the job done.  Clean it up a bit though.

I agree with Canon!  If you would like for the site to look better just remember that simple is best.  Don't flash, or blink, or make a sound.  Present every page in the same format and make it so that your clients become familiar with your navigation easily.

If you are using Yahoo as your hosting service they have a great arsenal of free site designs that include a marketplace function that is very organized and easy to manage with thier free Yahoo site builder software.  You might look into it.  It is free!

If you are trying to generate traffic, you might want to keep the traffic around a couple minutes. My eyes tried to commit suicide approximately 47 times in my first 5 seconds of viewing the site, you might want to tweak it a bit. Obviously the repeatedly flashing and brain jarring image that is the cow in the shopping cart is the worst of the worst.

See if you can get a hold of a copy of Dreamweaver and if you have no photo editing tools go find Gimp and give that a shot... or have a friend do it. Sorry if I'm a bit harsh, but wow. Also, some of the banners stick out and don't look right in Firefox.

Good advice here, the title of the site notwithstanding:

http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/

Go to the 10-worst list while you're at it. There are some amazingly bad sites there.

I have some ideas that I might need a quick, but effective website.  It is for a non-profit so I don't have a lot of cash.

Do any of you have recommendations or feel qualified to help me?

Send me some opinions or PM if you prefer.

Looks better w/o the shopping cart.

I maintained a Yahoo Store for about four or five years.  It worked great for me and the tools were incredibly easy to use.  It was more-or-less an on-line catalog of my brick & mortar business and was a very niche market, so I really didn't need a whole lot of flash.  Just project a classy image and show what I had to sell.  Real simple.  Simple sells.
