Expo Square = QuikTrip Center

Ew.  I just heard that QuikTrip has bought the naming rights of Expo Square.  QT is going to help pay for improvements to the facilities, which is good... but changing the name to the QuikTrip Center kinda makes me sick.  The name will never stick--people will always call it Expo Square.

At a news conference Thursday morning, officials revealed QuikTrip had purchased naming rights for the building.

The naming rights program will help pay for improvements and maintenance. QuikTrip paid 2-point-6 million dollars for the ten-year naming rights.

The building brings in more than 130-million dollars to the economy every year

Wait a second... They mentioned purchasing the naming rights for the building.  I guess they're talking only about the Exposition Center, and not the entire Expo Square.

KTUL needs to get its names right, because Expo Square and the Expo Center are not one in the same.
