I don't live in Tulsa or Nashville, so who is Del Giorno? I think he may be related to Bob Del Giorno, a radio guy out of New Orleans, if I'm not mistaken.

"Conservative author and long-time Tulsa-based talk show host" Michael Delgiorno.

Maybe he needs Medlock and Company to make things work...?

The relationship sounds right.

He was a pedantic, pontificating wind-bag who started out as a funny-enough afternoon host on KRMG.  Loved him on KRMG, loathed him at KFAQ.

He bounced around with some different PD posts at a couple of other media companies then landed at KFAQ (former 1100 KVOO am) where he launched an ultra-conservative morning program.  He used it as a self-righteous pulpit to preach the gospel, poke fun at local politicians, Indian gaming, drunks, druggies, liberals, gays, etc.

Last year, it was revealed that in the prior year, he'd been kicked out of two Indian casinos in one day for making an donkey of himself at the gaming tables.

We can't even get rid of him now that he's gone.  Thanks a lot guys...

Hey, I work in the casino biz, and people make an donkey of themselves all the time-within certain boundaries of course. Whatever he did at the tables must ahve been pretty bad.

David, as a publisher, is it ethical to rephrase Will Rogers' famous line about Okies and Californians without attribution?  Over at the Ninth Stage you seemed to have co-opted one of them . . .
