OT: 911 operator ignores 6 year old, mom dies

I realize this is off topic (hence the OT in the subject line), but this literally has me sick to my stomach.

911 dispatcher ignores 6 year old boy's pleas for help, 43 year old mother dies

The family filed a lawsuit today. Unbelievably, the dispatcher is still on the job, pending investigation.

I realize that has to be a stressful job, but for God's sake... that little boy will be traumatized the rest of his life because he tried to save his Mom and nobody believed him.
