While the TulsaNow forum staff respects the opinions of everyone, despite accusations to the contrary. However, two named individuals repeatedly refuse to follow the forum rules and in many cases, standard decency. Both have repeated these offenses over and over without any intention of changing their ways. For this, they are banned automatically without need for a repeat offense.

Those offenses include:
  • Threats against other members
  • Threats against forum staff
  • Threats against members of the general public
  • Email and/or PM harassment
  • Attacks/badmouthing on the forum
  • Repeat posting (SPAM)
  • Maintaining multiple accounts
  • etc.

Both individuals are obviously intelligent in their areas of expertise but will have to continue to distribute their opinion off of this forum. As long as the discussion is civil, this thread will remain unlocked for any comments.

You should consider PRH after the pm he sent me. And you should post it for others to see.

How do I block his pm's and put him on ignore list. Can't find it.

Ignoring a user:
1. Click on the user's name to view his/her profile.
2. Look for "Ignore this user" on the blue bar above the member's details.

Blocking private messages:
1. Click on your "PM Inbox."
2. Click on "Options" on the right.
3. You can disable PM's (all or nothing) from there.

I second that. PRH tries to claim that he's all for the betterment of Tulsa:

PRH quote:
"I never came onto this forum with a defense behavior - that's B.S., but I will defend myself when personally attacked.

I am interested in what will work to make Tulsa a better place; I didn't come here to fight with Internet bullies."

However, he then posts this on the Davaz blog:

"Tulsa is an awful place to live.

We feature holy-rollers and Republicans, and then holy-roller Republicans, and some Republican holy-rollers.

Otherwise, it's a town sitting next to a stinking river, next to stinking refineries.

Lovely place to be from." - PRH

And this:

"All we have is backward thinking here in Tulsa: The religious right calls it "forward thinking".

Tulsa is the most regressive place I've ever lived." - PRH

Yep, sure sounds like he's interested in making Tulsa a better place. What a joke. He obviously is one of the 'bullies' he claims to be fighting off. HA.

Hometown

Sir, there are more than a few folks around these parts that agree with you but when Waterboy tried to help you out you attacked him.  I think you should admit your mistake in judgment and apologize to Waterboy.

I've gone on many times before about the refinery stink and the environmental hazards.  I'm glad to see you bringing up this issue.  It's been tossed around before.

Couldn't agree with you more about the right nuts that call themselves Christians.  They've had their day.  But it may take Tulsa a while to figure that out.

The oil company's real sins don't stop with the toxic pollution on the west bank of the Arkansas.  They also abandoned the town that gave them a start.  And the Republicans have their own history of crimes against Tulsa.  No town has been more loyal to the Republican Party than Tulsa and no town has seen less Republican gravy.

Whining?  At its best TulsaNow might shape some opinions.  You could call it an opinion maker.  Though of course it does not have the reach of the TulsaWorld or even Urban Tulsa.

Double A

Very astute observation, Hometown. C'mon should we really ban one of Tulsa's Hot 100 from the board? Granted, he did have to share his spot with Biker Fox(man, I wish he'd post on Tulsa Now). Forsake Tulsa's own Emperor Norton? Nay I say, nay, let's keep Paul Tay.

Artiem

I find Tay pathetic, not amusing. Such a need for attention, how sad.

As for this other guy, he definitely flamed waterboy who was basically taking his side! what an donkey! "I'm gay so love me or screw off." Nice. I have many gay friends, but none who have such a major chip on the shoulder. Who needs that kind of negativity?

T'row the bums out!
