Last night my Mother gave me a hard cover book called Tulsa 75. As I sit here now I don't recall if it is a book that celebrates Tulsas 75th birthday or if it was published in 1975 but it is from the 70's. It is a history of Tulsa with many photos of people and places. I was so pleased to get it. It has a ton of photos of long forgotton places in Tulsa from its early years to what was then current. Dirt roads to paved streets in Downtown. Remember Mayor Hewgley? The Lafortune family, banks, stores and the time capsule. Just lots of stuff. I would like to try to scan some of these to email or post here. Anyone else ever seen this book?
