... is under new ownership. Simon Malls sold it but they won't say to who. Since Mervyn's is the last major tenant left, the mall could be on it's way out. Is the new owner not revealing themselves because it would give away the future of the mall?

My conspiracy theory. It was bought by the John 3:16 mission to turn into a giant homeless shelter.
