Lambrusco'z - if they're open.

Or try 742-DINE. Restaurants vary based on where you live, but we've always gotten pretty good stuff. Though I still miss Camerelli's.

I'll probably pick up a couple of dinners from Lambrusco'z tonight.

And maybe some white queso and chips to make staying at home more festive! You got chips and dip, you got a party. [:D]

Lambrusco'z

Already picked up the queso.

If this were not true, I wouldn't have a social life.

We picked up Prime Rib from Tavin's Tia Grill here in Owasso.  (sides were salad, mashed potatoes and blackeyed peas)

Once I finish a couple of Canadian Mist&Coke's we will dive in to dinner.
Trust but verify

I just picked up some Lobster Bisque and Veal Osso Buco from the Stonehorse market.

Yeah, especially since it's nowhere near Columbus, OH.

Wife and I are food snobs :(

Anyway.

Pizza: If you're in BA... Papa Murphy's Pizza (NE corner of 81st and 145th).  They make the pizza, you pick it up, then  you go home and put it in the oven.  Sounds like a PITA but their prices are very reasonable, you get a lot of food, and it tastes fantastic.

Chinese: Pei Wei - 71st and Garnet isn't bad at all, a bit pricey though.  Beats the snot out of the other Chinese joints on 71st out in BA or the Happy House.

Italian: Carrabas on 71st and Garnett.  It's okay, we do take out probably once a quarter.

Steaks / Mid Eastern: Jamiels (spelling?) 51st and Harvard if you want a lot of decent steaks/sides that won't break the bank.  Which reminds me I need to go check out their new joint.

Jamil's is a little 'meh' for me. I went there just last night for the first time. (I usually go to Freddie's in Sapulpa for whatever reason)

I like the history which seems to have survived even in the new location. The tabouli, not so much. Not my style. I can't say I prefer the sort with a bunch of cucumber and green peppers. Everything else was pretty much the same as Freddie's, except the ribeye, which was fattier than what I'm used to. (and not in a good way)

I suppose I can say it's excellent for the price, but if I have the time and funds, I'd still prefer Freddie's. Not that I probably won't be found at Jamil's at some point in the future, mind you. I just can't satiate my tabouli craving there.

I can't say enough good things about Freddie's in Sapulpa. The food is good and the service excellent. The owner, Ed Slyman, is always willing to help out for a good cause by donating some food as well. I love his steaks, but most people go for his bar-b-que.

Behind the restaurant in Sapulpa is a wonderful ballroom that holds 150 people or so. We have had our company Christmas party there and it was perfect. He gave us a great price on the dinners and had the place decorated beautifully. We have also used his wife's catering company, Catering by Sherian, for a number of events.
