Went to the show last night and my entire family had a fantastic time. I wish this could be come a Tulsa tradition! If you've been thinking about buying tickets but have been on the fence ... do it!

On another note, I don't think I've seen so many senior women with fur coats on in years!

A beavy of high-kicking show girls in my own town...

I've had that dream.
Power is nothing till you use it.

WoW, Just WoW- I love the Rockettes. They are knockouts. I wish I could go see one of their shows. That is really enjoyable to watch. It must take alot of training for the Ladies to do some of those stunts. The high kicking is really something.. [}:)][:)]

Went Christmas eve at the noon show..started at 12:05 and there were maybe 40% of the seats filled which surprised me..I thought I was really early when the lights started to go down. But I think more people were coming to the later shows that afternoon.

GREAT SHOW ...I recorded the show from the Rockettes on TV to compare..and they were one in the same...great quality..I do hope they come back next year...

J Cronely made the same observation in his Tulsa World column today.  He also commented about the high number of drunken people in the audience and their poor behavior.  That surprised me.

I have never seen the traveling show, but I was fortunate to attend the show at Radio City/NYC in 1984 and 1986.  Had much of the same elements I am sure, the wooden soldiers routine, the living nativity as the finale.  And the awesome Deco ambience of the Music Hall can't be beat.  It's amazing to think that the Music Hall was on the brink of destruction about 30 years ago; thank goodness the Rockefeller Center owners came to their senses and saved it.
