Tried the one in Ardmore in Septemter while  there producing an event.  Great atmosphere and the food was decent.  Fun place to stop and eat.

See there are two planned for this area, too bad not one in Tulsa.

I was in Ada last Monday, inspecting a venue, and pulled into the new Sante Fe Cattle Company location there, unfortunatly it was not yet open.

Sorry, you have to have that new Flash Player thingy to see this web site.  Not sure why anyone would choose to use this Flash thing as most computers don't have it installed and you cannot see much on these types of sites.  Tried to install it on a few of my PCs with no luck.

There is not one in Tulsa but there is one in Broken Arrow.  It is okay.  They are a Texas Roadhouse knockoff with the peanut shells on the floor mess.
It's hard being a Diamond in a rhinestone world.

I actually believe the peanut shell thing is to keep the wait staff and others busy sweeping the concrete floor while they don't have any customers to service.  Seems to keep the cob webs out of the places that server them.

Not a bad idea, many restaurants should get rid of their funky carpet and try that concept.

Where is the one in Broken Arrow?  I don't go south of 31st street much other than on the highways heading out of state to work an event, but may travel through there once a year and may want to stop to eat.

I refuse to go to any restaurant that encourages their patrons to litter. What a stupid thing to promote.

We went to Texas Roadhouse when they first opened and I asked for a bowl for the peanut shells. The waitress said no. I asked for the manager and he said that they wouldn't give me a bowl for the shells "because it would be one more dish for them to wash".

We politely left.
Power is nothing till you use it.

omg dude that takes the cake.  a place known for throwing shells on the ground but you go there anyways....awesome.

there will be one of these opening soon in Bixby so you wont have to drive all the way out to BA to eat at one.

Santa Fe used to be fantastic food.  Unfortunately in 2004/2005 they started to slide downhill rather rapidly.

Maybe I should give them another try?

Maybe not in the Tulsa area that long, but they've been around since the mid-90s.

I don't know why you'd care, though. You probably don't like them anyway.

The Broken Arrow location is at 71st and the Broken Arrow Expressway right in front of Lowes.  I am not sure where the Bixby location is going. Where is the new Bixby location?

The shells would end up in the same place, the trash, difference is you would rather them waste water and soap on extra dishs to wash... that doesn't sound very environmentally friendly...

We ate at the one in Broken Arrow and will not go back.  The food was Ok but not that good.  There are better places to eat steak.

South County

Also one going in at 121st and Hwy 75 by Wal-Mart. Looks like it is about 45 days from opening.
