As you can see, it's fairly expensive to live in downtown FW (Forget Dallas unless you're doing VERY well). I live in Hurst, which is about 12 miles northeast of downtown.
I have to admit some of the lofts are nice though; I like the hardwood floors. Downtown FW, although it has gone through quite a renaissance, doesn't have near the charm of Tulsa. For some reason, the large square glass towers are a complete turnoff (to me). However, the night life and attractions at Sundance square are second to none.
