Sounds like ODOT is getting ready to royally screw over Catoosa with the next I44 project.

Just absolutely nuts to seriously suggest that drivers take an exit, do a texas turn-around, then rapidly merge across three lanes of interstate traffic so they can access a major highway, and the main gateway to Catoosa.

I get that they need to straighten out that north curve, and the interchange needs to be re-done, but how did they end up with the idea of moving the 193rd exit so far and removing the 66 exit? It just doesn't make any sense in my mind, and I've been looking over the maps trying to figure it out. The only way I can make sense of it is if they ran out of budget? Or perhaps they are just incompetent as usual...

I hope that meeting is packed. I'd show up myself if I lived closer, but I'm way on the complete opposite side of the metro.
