When some malcontent throws a plastic bottle at a cop, you deal with it at that level.  Instead they rioted, clubbing journalists and families with kids enjoying a peaceful May Day celebration.

The absence or presence of illegal aliens should not be a rationalization to justify a complete breakdown of discipline in one of the largest police departments in the U.S.
