I was in Northern Virginia recently visiting my brother.  While I was there they served a meal from Let's Dish.  Anyone every hear of it?  Basically it is a shop where you can go in and prepare a bunch of freezable meals in advance.  They supply the ingredients, cookware, take home containers, everything.  My sister-in-law said she goes once a month with friends and spends about 2 hours preparing 8 meals for the month that feed between 5 and 6 for about $85 per month, which I thought was pretty cheap.  It is not necessarily intended for every night, just meals you need something in a hurry. The food I ate was great and was easy to cook, since it was already prepared.  They said that they didn't think one was in Tulsa, but there was some other store here with this same concept.  Anyone know what it is?  This is my only chance to get my wife to make a home cooked meal [:D].

I don't think that chain is in Tulsa, however, I know there is a place in Owasso that does the same thing...I think it's called "Pass your Plate" or something like that.

That must be it!  I just found their website: http://www.passyourplate.com

Looks to be pretty much the same thing.  Anyone ever use them?

grahambino

ive seen a 'pass your plate' storefront in OKC.

I think its a good idea for working families. me being a single guy going in there alone, i would feel odd.  though, i like the idea, since its hard to cook for one.

I used passyourplate once, other choices super suppers and dinner market. There is a "dinner911" service that is similar but their food is premade & frozen locally.

In choosing, look at their menu and see if there is anything you like. Most are a little fancy for my unrefined tastes.

There's one here somewhere.  My wife and her friends were cackling about it the other night.
