Notice from forum member

After being repeatedly accused of being someone named "Davaz" by a poster on here who goes by the screen name "Snopes", I have decided to make a statement.

I have furnished my true name to this "Snopes" person in a private email, which will allow him to find out my address and telephone number and confirm the fact there is no way I could be in Houston, Texas.

I wish to tell this "Snopes" person, and anyone else reading this, that if any "incident" occurs at my home or to my property, "Snopes" screen name will be given to the Tulsa Police Department to investigate his true identity as a possible criminal suspect.

I think I've been fair about these accusations long enough.

Shame on the forum moderators for allowing this to get to such a point that people make false accusations on here and it's allowed.

Oh that's truly greatness PRH. So you give me your personal information through a PM and now if anything happens at your place, I'm to blame. A setup if I've every heard of one. BTW, I never said that you were Davaz, at least not in this latest dispute. I merely said you were a devotee because of your defense of him and that by your signature line, which you deleted and said "We Know WHY You Leave Tulsa," I could understand how one could surmise that you are Davaz. BTW, a word of caution; never, ever provide personal information over a simple dispute on a forum. As I said in my response to your PM, you don't know what kind of crazies are out there. For you to provide me with personal information and then make THREATS to me if there is any damage to your property (which could be inflicted by you or someone you might appoint) is definitely childish, at the very least. Please grow up.

I've been speaking my mind for years under my real name and have been listed in telephone directory.  I'm not in the new directory because I moved about the time the new directory deadline came, but I am listed in directory information, available from 411.
 
I've been writing to the Tulsa World opinion page for years and signing with my real name.  Anyone could have come to my home over the years who didn't like my point of view.  It never happened.

If you had bothered to look at my profile, you'd discover my real name is there.  I don't hide behind a screen name, Mr. "Snopes".  At the time of writing this post, I don't see your real name on your profile.  Are you afraid?  I think you don't use your real name or initials  because you don't want to be held accountable for what you say.  I'm not afraid to be held accountable...but then I have integrity.

Bullies and dictators are generally the only kinds of people who don't want others to speak their minds.  That's why I'm not afraid of you.  You're just a bully who has met someone he can't beat up on.

I'll respond to that. You came on the forum with defensive behavior. Perhaps your military background or your admitted gay orientation has toughened you to the extent that you think you need that persona. I personally could not see how you thought you were attacked by Snopes. The whole Davaz thing was overblown.

So you make it clear, you're ready and able for a fight. That's fine. But if you run off people capable of engaging you, how does that help?

FYI, I am similar in background, experiences and age to you. I could identify with your comments. Probably went to the same schools. I lived next to Darlington Park back in the late 70's. Our age group is likely a minority on these forums and I notice that can be frustrating. Remember being under 40 and sure you knew everything? Then finding out at 50 how wrong you were?

If you were able to pull old posts you would find that I defended Davaz, or whatever name he was going by, as I am all too aware of Tulsa's shortcomings. But he persisted on irritating people by not admitting our strengths as well. And he abused the rules of the forum. He seems more comfortable with a blog. Maybe you would be too.


Anyway, its just a forum. Life goes on.

I never came onto this forum with a defense behavior - that's B.S., but I will defend myself when personally attacked.

I don't know you. I don't even know what you're talking about when you pretend you're "similar" to me.  You can't possibly know my human experience.

I could care less whether you defended Davaz or not.  If the posters on here were listening to him, instead of attacking him, you might have learned something from him.  

As for your suggestion that I'd be "more comfortable with a blog" - I'll be the judge of that.
