I discovered a new online service, rollyo.com, that allows you to create a personalized search engine -- you pick the web sites that you want to search within and save that as a "searchroll". Enter a keyword and the results will be drawn only from the sites you selected. Uses Yahoo! Search as the engine. Neat idea.

So I took the liberty of creating a searchroll just for Tulsa named "Tulsa Time", thinking that might be useful for people on the forum. You can access it here:

http://rollyo.com/search.html?sid=5202&f=share

The list of sites that I've included is listed down the left side of the page. They include the major entertainment venues, arts organizations, select media outlets, sports teams, and of course, TulsaNow. [:P]

So the theory is that if you want to know what's going on in Tulsa, you can simply perform a search using the Tulsa Time searchroll and get results from only the sites listed.

If you take the time to register with rollyo.com, takes just a minute and is free, then you can create your own searchrolls and "subscribe" to other people's searchrolls. Then all you have to do is visit the rollyo.com home page and all your searchrolls are right there. Pretty slick.

Anyways, thought I would share that, in case any of you might find it useful.

ps - I am in no way affiliated with rollyo.com... just seems like a neat service.
