I agree with Troyer on this one. I want the big streets package, but I want a street improvement election that can pass even more.

The best part of the meeting to my juvenile self is listening to Christiansen continually talking about his "package".

Why would Troyer be afraid of a recall?

The "Party of Five" survived and even the pair who had catfights on a gravesite.

I'm pretty sure it takes something like punching a handicapped citizen while transferring the city budget to your personal checking account and simultaneously having sex with your secretary all during a live council meeting to get recalled.

You know, I think about this repeatedly on occasion; while we have some crappy council-people on the council nowadays, I think to myself:
