Does anyone have information about the  new rail systems in the Tulsa area? I would like more information on this subject, but keep coming up empty handed. What's  going on along the Turner turnpike with new power poles going up?

The list of other proposals for faster-speed rail includes: linking Las Vegas with greater Los Angeles; Chicago with St. Louis; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with Pittsburgh; Oklahoma City with Tulsa; and upgrading track on a medium-speed line between Miami and Orlando.

Imagine a 205-mile per hour train, you could zoom through the turnpike in less than 30 minutes.

Although there hasn't been any serious discussions or proposals for high speed rail service between Tulsa-Oklahoma City; impressed that we're in that conversation.

If we could just get regularly scheduled passenger train service (consistent) through say something like the Eastern Flyer, that would be a step in the right direction.   Not holding my breath on this subject.
