Proposal is for a small plaza at Riverside and Lawton

Still in proposal and concept phases. Riverview residents are driving the project.

Wow, what rock have you been living under?

It's a common enough question that they answer it in the article.
It's also common enough that I thought I'd poke fun at carltonplace.

Dude, do you even observe?  Smiley

I am not good at names. I don't pay attention to who writes a post, I just respond.

What do the people that live in that area think about their neighborhood being used at Tulsa Tough?

According to the news report, they're supportive. I saw a few "private property - keep off" signs along Riverside, so it's not unanimous.

I do look at who writes a post before responding.  Some are not worth my time to write a reply.

on the name "Crybaby Hill"..   the rendering shows a bench/sign with "Home of Crybaby Hill"
is there any attempt to explain what that's all about?   If, on the off chance an out-of-towner makes their way to this park will they be left wondering?   It's pretty much an inside thing specific to one sporting even held once a year - in Tulsa.

As a runner, my personal Crybaby Hill is farther south. The hill just south of Harwelden, on 23rd I think, that runs east from Riverside. Try that one after running 3 miles or riding a bike.

Congrats, you are one of today's lucky 10,000!  http://xkcd.com/1053/

Crybaby hill is a section of one of the Tulsa Tough cycling races.  From the article:

"As the story goes, Gifford — a cyclist and part owner of the Soundpony bar — went to the first Tulsa Tough race nine years ago, stumbled upon a doll on the hill and began to use it to taunt racers passing by."

And an EDIT:  It appears you might have been asking if there is an explanation on the plaza, not for yourself.  Anyways, carry on.
