Noticed today that Casa Bonita had a sign on the door indicating that they are "closed for business".

Bad food plus bad service plus overpricing equals EPIC FAIL!

No great loss.  Looks like out of towners will have to go elsewhere for crappy food in a dingy environment.

I'm sure it was the sluggish economy and our archaic liquor laws what did them in.

Another joint that seemed to be seemed better only through passage of time and the hazy fog of memory.  Perhaps its time to stop trying to revive this relic of an era when quality authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex food were not readily available all over the city.

This conversation has gotten a little too...diverse...for my taste.

You need more Diversity training.  We have it at least once a year at work.

Diversity is good.  Diversity is good......  (Repeat frequently. Kind of like, "It's only a movie.")

Just finished diversity training about 3 weeks ago.  Enlightening.

Gaspar,
Take that velveeta and add some Rotel.  Melt slowly.

Can always get something good out of something bleh.  Add spray cheese to a cracker, close your eyes to eat, and it almost tastes like a cracker and cheese.

Unfortunately I am one of those people that will miss this place. I only hope I can get in when they sell stuff off, I want a flag. If I can get some of the plates then I can put a TV dinner on it and recreate the whole experience.
