I like this calculator...

http://www.carbonfootprint.com/

Here is a personal emissions calculator from EPA...

http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/emissions/ind_calculator.html

My personal choice is probably this one...

I don't believe in global warming, but I wish it was real. I think living in a warmer world would be a good thing. Longer growing seasons, more crops, less heating fuel needed, more time for outdoor R&R.. I don't see anything postive about wanting a colder planet, (shorter growing seasons, and using more heating fuel). I hear something that in the UK they are giving everyone a "Carbon Card" and when your carbon credits are  all used up you have to pay extra to buy gasoline or something like that. That could be coming the the USA. Rush L. was talking about that on his radio show I think global warming is a big hoax..

I am 17.174

Surprised they didn't ask about property maintenance, like lawn mowing.

Why are they not recommending mass migration to the Equator? That would save way more than anything proposed, and would be permanent.

Just think, no heating season at all.

What gives anyone a right to heating fuel just because they live in a northern climate?

10.2 Planet Earths
The first calculator gave me a score of "0" for my house which is obviously wrong. I still used a little over 26 tonnes though.

my actual footprint was about 13, but I had to play with it.  If I live like a jetsetting millionair, the national avarage looked like a squished little dot, but if I lived like a lettuce eating, bike riding hippie, then the footprint was no existant.  Ahhh the spectrum.

I drive an SUV..... and had to calculate in the plane trip in a few weeks.  These two factors knocked me up a few.

4.1 planet Earths. I tried "implementing" the suggested changes, and it still only took me down to 2.9 planets.

Monday mornings are good.  That's when I throw out all my plastic bottles, aluminum cans and newspapers...
