QuoteSavastano's, 105th Street and Memorial Drive
It's located on the border of Bixby, but this shop's heart is definitely in Chicago. Savastano's is famous for its deep-dish pies, but its thin-crust pizzas are just as authentic and flavorful. Here, with cheese, sausage, mushrooms and peppers.

QuoteHideaway, seven locations in the Tulsa area
Purists insist that the only authentic Hideaway Pizza can be had at the original Stillwater location. However, this Oklahoma institution makes great pies wherever you may find it. The Paradise Pie and Pizza of the Gods are perennial favorites, while the Cimarron, with meatballs, jalapenos and and alfredo sauce, is worth checking out.

QuoteAndolini's, 1552 E. 15th St.; 12149 E. 96th St. North, Owasso
Andolini's has been steadily raising its pizza-making into an artform since opening in Owasso and expanding to Cherry Street in Tulsa. Its specialty pizza employ ingredients you don't find just anywhere, like the Porchetta, which has sliced pork roast stuffed with prosciutto, pancetta, pecorino, lemon peel, garlic, thyme, sage and topped with house-made mozzarella.

QuoteUmberto's, 3228 E. 21st St.
The unpretentious exterior — and, let's be honest, equally unprepossessing interior — belie the quality of the pies Umberto's produces: a thin, East Coast-style crust topped with a surprisingly sweet tomato sauce. Some fans prefer the shop's calzones to the pizza, but for most patrons, it's all about the pie. Here, the Supreme.

QuoteJoe Momma's,112 S. Elgin Ave.
Joe Momma's earned some national attention when its Incinerator Pizza made an appearance on the "Man vs. Food" series.  Just as tasty, if not as spicy, is the Thai Chicken Pizza, that may be the best fusion concept on a brick-oven baked crust you can find. And don't miss the Momma's Bread.

QuoteD'Oro's Pizza, 6380 E. 31st St.
D'Oro advertises itself as a Chicago-style pizzeria, and in some ways it is. The crust is thick, almost breadlike, and deeper than flatbread pizza but not as tall as one generally pictures a deep-dish pizza. The sauce, seasoned with oregano, rosemary and other spices, is mildly sweet, and the cheese is a six-cheese blend. Rather than compare it to a specific style, probably it is best to view the pizzas as uniquely D'Oro. And definitely delicious. Here, the Supreme pizza.

QuoteGaetano's Pizzeria and Creamery, 12141 S. Elm St., Jenks
Gaetano's has everything from subs and pasta to its 16 ice cream flavors shipped specially for Gaetano's from Wisconsin. But it's the pizza that keeps people coming back. Try the Iron City Meat Fest pizza with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, pork sausage, Italian sausage, hamburger and bacon.

QuoteHey Mambo, 114 N. Boston Ave.
The cozy space that is Hey Mambo in the Brady Arts District is known for its pasta and brick-oven pizzas.
The Center of the Universe pie, named after the neighborhood landmark, has pesto cream, artichokes, spinach, pepper bacon, prosciutto, Roma tomatoes and Feta. Enough said

QuoteKen's Pizza at Mazzio's, locations throughout the Tulsa area
Mazzio's has become a national chain with outlets in six states, but recently in Tulsa it revived the pizza that started it all — the wafer-thin crust pie with the sharp peppery sauce that Ken Selby developed and sold at his Ken's Pizza parlors. It's a bit of Tulsa pizza history. Honorable mention: Mazzio's Greek-style pizza is one staffer's weekly go-to order.

QuoteNYC Pizza, 4775 S. Harvard Ave.
A few places in town claim to serve authentic New York style pizza, and they do a decent job. But here is the real deal. NYC Pizza offers the traditional thin-style crust, along with Sicilian style pizza, with a thick, square crust that's somewhat akin to foccacia

I am OK with that list.

I would probably change the order at top a little and drop Savastano's down, but the rest is OK.

I would find a way to add Mario's, La Roma, and Pie Hole and drop Ken's of Mazzio's off.

I just had about the best pizza I've ever had at a place called Napa Flats on about 98th and Riverside (in that King's Landing center).  They make all of their own cheese every day.

Meatballs were really good too.  They also have a complete gelato bar.  Prices are very reasonable. They buy decent wines by the barrel and offer them on tap, charged with nitrogen. They also have a great bottled wine bar selection, and you can order a tray of flights to taste.

Only been there once, but I can't say enough about the experience.

No idea why Ken's is on this list. Not at all cromulent.
