I was not able to make it.  How was it?  Too bad mardi gras falls during the cold season!

I estimate 15-20 entries and about 5,000 people.

Pretty darn good for the first time out.

I was going to head that way, but I had way too much to get done at home and needed to work on a proposal for a customer as well, so I wussed out at the last minute.  I heard it was a great turn-out.

I had a great time at the parade.   I scored a t-shirt and some beads.   It was cold and it was a lot of fun.   I would like to see the Krewe de Blue Parade continue in the future.   They needed a  few more high school bands,  Thanks Edison for being there.   Another missing element was a near by Popeyes to pick up some chicken.

Thanks and good show to all those who put this together.   A new Blue Dome tradition.

was going to try and get there after class but had something come up, so I passed on some of my beads to a classmate that was going to go there with a friend in my stead.
