This has probably been asked before, but what is being built between Best Buy and Mathis Brothers, visible from Hwy 169?

Dave and Busters.  I hear completion is probably in January.

Opps, never mind. Now I remember being in one in Dallas. Quite a place and great food. They must think their draw will be quite strong locating it off the "Strip."

The wife and I drove back by this place on Monday. This is obviously supposed to be an attraction, but the road that leads to it does not appear to be built for heavy traffic. Is this a concern? Or will the traffic impact be minimal?

Just looking at the structure they're erecting...this will be the smallest D&Bs that I've ever seen. I've only visited the two in Denver/Boulder and the Dallas location, but it just seems really tiny compared to those.

Still, it'll be a good alternative to Incredible Pizza for those of us wanting to play without as many kids around.

its not D&B, its the aloft hotel.

Are they building something else on that lot?  Because D&Bs has been announced on that parcel since early summer.

Spoke to someone today who works for D&B's and he stated that they are scheduled to open sometime around December.

A 1 story hotel? Interesting.

I will take the word of an executive for D&B.  They would not be flying in for nothing.  They also would not be just telling people a random date in which they plan to open here in Tulsa.

The Dave and Busters is being built on an out parcel of the hotel site. D&B has almost completed construction and I don't think the Hotel has even started.

D&B is supposed to open in December but the Hotel doesn't open until November 2009.
