The fam and I were apart of the spectacle on Riverside Saturday morning watching the helicopter in action. It was amazing to see how many cars were pulled off the side of the road.

I was one of those as well, cursing myself for leaving my camera at home.

Unaware of the spectical, we tried to go rollerblading..   They had the path blocked off and were told to use the shoulder of the road..
pretty much impassible with all the cars parked in the sholder, trafic, and rocks in whatnot.

Not sure what closing the path and moving people 10 feet further away proved.

I seem to remember some 'choppas' doing something similar when the Home Depot @ 41st and Sheridan was being built. I looked out my window at work and saw a chopper lowering something on the building.

I must have had my ESP working that morning because I suggested that we carry our camera in case there was a photo op for our daughter at the Jenks herb festival. I saw a ton of people taking pics with their camera phones of the helicopter.
