For one weekend the eyes of the world are on the Midwest in Tulsa, Oklahoma as Diversafest, LLC [Dfest] showcases the nation's best independent musicians to create a world-class showcase of the musical arts that emphasizes cultural diversity in music, and also creates an opportunity for these artists and other music enthusiasts, hobbyists, and professionals to join forces with music industry leaders and partake in a full agenda of educational and provocative panel discussions, clinics and workshops, featuring a dynamic group of speakers of international stature.

The Dfest Music Festival is a virtual multi-genre taster's test of music from the best of fresh independent original music and artists from around Oklahoma and the US, now including international acts this year from Canada and Mexico all taking place in the Historic Boston District of Tulsa.

This year the festival will feature national headlining acts on both nights on free outdoor festival stages and cutting edge buzz bands inside on the club stages to create a weekend of excitement, fun, and, ultimately, the place to be on July 7-8, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Diversafest stands for diversity, meaning we showcase all genres of music, from rock to reggae, hip-hop to country, indie to DJ, and on and on. Dfest 2006 will be its fifth successful year and is unique in that Dfest provides an intimate setting during the music conference to meet, be seen and network with music industry professionals, including management, booking, attorneys and A&R, giving artists from all over the country a real opportunity to be exposed to a gathering of music industry professionals. Dfest, along with re-energizing artists at any level in their career, can also help start the buzz or close the deal.

To attend the conference and festival showcases, buy your All-Event Badge online. Early-Bird Discount until March 31 (save $100), then the price goes up. Walk up price is $150.

To attend the festival only to see the musical showcases, buy one wristband to see all concert showcases. One-day wristband is $10 or save with the Two-day wristband for $15. Two-day wristbands can be purchased in advance online.
