Looking to buy, rent or lease to purchase a home with yard in the NE Tulsa area or Owasso. I am a disabled veteran, electrician, working at the Port of Catoosa and currently living with my wife and 4 children in Barnsdall...the commute is a killer...can anyone help?

Forget Owasso or Northeast Tulsa. Try Sand Springs.

The newspaper here is the Owasso Reporter.

The interface for the classifieds is kinda clunky, but it will connect you with the ads...eventually.

You might call some of the real estate offices here too, or even the banks.

good luck!

I'm pretty sure the intent of the original post was to minimize commute time to the Port of Catoosa.

To answer the original post:
There are some new subdivisions in Claremore and Verdigris that may serve your needs.  I would check Catoosa too, although I haven't heard of any development there.

If nothing in Owasso pans out, you might check into Skiatook--it's a nice midway point between the port and Barnsdall, if you still have family there.  Otherwise, I'd say go with Catoosa.
